Endless

Polyend's Endless is a bold departure from traditional stompboxes, offering a platform-style effects pedal as flexible and expansive as your imagination. Right out of the box, you gain access to the Plates community — an ever-growing library of Polyend- and community-designed effects, all free to download to your pedal. But that's only the beginning. Endless's Playground generative AI system uses text-based prompts and pre-purchased tokens to help you audition, refine, and deploy effects built entirely from your own ideas. This text-driven workflow is complemented by an open-source option for programmers, where advanced users can build effects from scratch using Polyend's GitHub SDK. With its rugged aluminum construction, swappable faceplates, USB-C connectivity, and built-in expandability, Endless may look like any other pedal, but it behaves like an ever-growing effects ecosystem. Endless comes preloaded with the Endless Delay effect and includes a matching custom metal faceplate.

Playground: An Endless Array of FX Possibilities

Behind Endless's ever-expanding library is Polyend's Playground system, where new effects are created, refined, and shared. Playground lets users generate original effects using plain-text descriptions. Each Endless pedal includes $20 in starter tokens, which are used with Playground's generative AI to build and fine-tune your effects through guided iterations before committing to a final version. If you can articulate it, you can make it. A sample of currently available community-generated effects:

• Tessera — transforms a signal into microlooping arpeggios
• Tape Scanner — warm, gritty, lo-fi tape delay
• VHS LoFi — VHS emulation ranging from fresh tapes to dusty old cassettes
• Memory Cloud — a field of grains that can be reversed, randomized, and morphed from delay to reverb
• 65' Sparkle — amp simulation with a touch of drive

Endless also comes preloaded with the aptly named Endless Delay — a freezable delay you can repeat indefinitely without breakup — along with a custom metal faceplate designed specifically for it.

Plates: A Fully Supported FX Community

Once you've finalized an effect, you can upload and share it freely within the Plates community, where it lives alongside official Polyend effects and other user-created content available to download at no cost. An open-source GitHub SDK gives programmers and power users a direct path to code their own effects from scratch and publish them to Plates just as easily. As the library grows, players can download, experiment with, and refine community-built effects, making Endless both collaborative and deeply customizable.
