An anodised aluminium chassis stands up to the demands of heavy touring and studio use. Designed and manufactured in Italy.

MIDI I/O allows seamless integration with MIDI-equipped pedals like X-GEAR, while the EXT. CONTROL input accepts an expression pedal for real-time parameter control of any assignable parameter.

• An Infinite Tone Collection

TONEX Pedal is part of the broader TONEX ecosystem spanning hardware, Mac/PC software, and iOS — use the same Tone Models as a DAW plugin in the studio, on the iOS app at home, and on the TONEX Pedal on stage.

The included TONEX MAX comes loaded with 1,000 premium Tone Models, and gives unlimited access to user-created Tone Models on ToneNET — an ever-growing library of tones from players around the world.

• Full Studio and Stage Integration

The included TONEX MAX software handles rig modelling, standalone use, and DAW plugin operation. Its built-in librarian lets you browse, edit, and load Tone Models and presets, then transfer exactly what you need to the pedal via drag-and-drop.

The included AmpliTube 5 also integrates TONEX as an in-app gear component — your tone travels seamlessly between the stage and the studio.

The TONEX Pedal doubles as a 24-bit / 44.1 kHz USB audio interface, letting you record directly into your Mac or PC with no additional interface required.

• AI Machine Modeling Technology

IK Multimedia's AI Machine Modeling captures the sound of amplifiers, cabinets, and distortion pedals with exceptional accuracy. A short guitar capture is recorded, then analysed and stored as a Tone Model by a neural network — reproducing every dynamic nuance of the original source, not just its static character.

Beyond IK Multimedia's own extensive preset library, players can create their own models and share them on ToneNET, including full rig captures of complex signal chains.
